Shush…don’t tell anyone but I am actually doing NaNo – very quietly and only writing the one book, but I am slowly and surely heading towards my goal – finishing Trent’s Story from Stockton Wolves. The book is entitled Don’t Bite and it will be out early next month. I was determined not to put any pressure on myself this year (as you know from earlier posts), but I am quietly thrilled I am writing something every day. It means a lot to me.
Last week I asked you all to comment on what it was you got from my books. I was absolutely, tears running down my face thrilled at the response. The key factor was love, which is awesome because that is the premise of all of my books. But so many of you mentioned other things like you know there is no cheating in my books and how you felt you got to know me more as a person because of them. So many of you got comfort from my books (thank you) and more than one of you mentioned I was a re-read author of yours. That is an amazing compliment, so thank you. I was overwhelmed, I really was. Your support certainly helps me get through those bad days all of us have at one point or another.
I couldn’t pick a winner as I wanted to give all of you books lol. The postage would have crippled me 🙂 So I got a friend of mine to chose one at random. So if Blaine Hall could get in touch with me, you my friend, are the winner. You can email me, or PM me on FB.
And now to this weeks competition. Same prize – a print version of any one of my books on Createspace, sent to you anywhere in the world. But this week is a bit different. I want you to find me a picture of Trent. You will notice in the picture gallery, I don’t have one. He’s not overly tall, probably 5’10 – 6′. He has curly brown hair that falls over his face, a thin and pretty face with high cheek bones and brown eyes. He’s not a muscled beefcake – he has more of a swimmer’s build. Remember he won’t look young – he’s twenty eight and he’s been a detective for some years. But he hasn’t lost his innocence. You can post the link to a picture in the comments below, send it to me via email, or send it via PM on FB. I will post the best of the pictures as a blog post on Friday and we can all choose which one is the most fitting.
So for all of you who love to spend time looking at pictures of lovely men (I know I do) get your thinking caps on, and let your fingers do the walking. Have a great week 🙂
