I know there hasn’t been a lot on my blog in the last week. I am busy writing On The Brink, book 10 in the Cloverleah series, in preparation for it’s launch in January. I also have a couple of other projects on the go and I will update you on those when I have some firm dates of when they will be released.
Firstly, thank you, thank you, thank you for the awesome support I got for Don’t Bite (Book 4 Stockton Wolves). The response has been amazing, and I have been happy dancing for a week.
Don’t forget to keep an eye out for my instafreebie gifts. Last week I was giving away a full ebook copy of The Viper’s Heart. That closes later today. This week I am giving away a full copy of Uncaged. I know a few of you weren’t keen on buying that one because it was slightly different to my normal books. But the basic rules of love and mates are in that book too and for the next week you can get it for free by clicking here.
Thank you so much to those of you who entered my competition from last week. Reading the comments made me smile as they brought back my own memories of when I was writing the books. I love those guys so much. I couldn’t choose a winner and so I had a friend randomly pick one for me. The posts were all that good lol.
And the winner is…Helena Rose. If you can message me or email me with your details, Helena, I will get the four books from the Stockton Wolves in the mail to you as quickly as possible.
For the rest of you, thank you and here’s a short excerpt from On The Brink which will hopefully make you smile. Unedited of course, but we get to see Scott and Damien again.
Sebastian let out a roar and did a perfect dive off the balcony.
“What the fuck?” Scott looked at Damien. “I didn’t think Sebastian liked anybody.”
“No clue.” Puzzled, Damien looked over the balcony rail.
Scott joined him in time to see Sebastian grabbing what looked like a drown Papillion. Poor Madison. “Oh dear.”
Damien started to laugh. “This is priceless.”
“Madison’s going to be furious,” Scott said struggling not to laugh at the dejected picture Madison made. “He so wanted to impress your guests. He was drooling over Nereus the night they arrived.”
“Nereus is droolworthy and apparently mated to our red wolf.” Damien’s laughter picked back up. “And so is Sebastian.”
“To Raff? I didn’t think Nereus and Sebastian were mates.”
“They aren’t. Sebastian’s mated to Madison!” Damien dissolved in laughter again. Scott couldn’t understand why Damien thought the situation was funny.
“I don’t get it.”
“Long story. I wouldn’t wish it on Madison.” Damien wiped tears from his eyes. “But Sebastian has met his match. Madison is going to rule that house.”
“But if they’re mates, doesn’t that mean Sebastian will be here from now on? I can’t see Madison leaving.” In fact, Scott was sure nothing would pry Madison from his position as the Alpha’s PA, not to mention his position in the pack.
Damien stopped laughing and it was Scott’s turn to start. The look on his mate’s face was priceless.
End excerpt – all will be revealed in On the Brink, coming early January.
Have a great week 🙂
