Competition Time

Hello lovely peoples; I do hope you are not getting too stressed with the holiday season just around the corner. It’s at Christmas time I really appreciate online shopping – with eight grandchildren, plus three adult children and their partners to buy for – my mail lady was really pleased when everything was finally here 🙂

I have been thinking about what I could do for you all; Christmas is the time for giving. I will be running some freebies through Instafreebie next week; if there is a particular series you weren’t sure you wanted to try, this could be your chance 🙂

And today is competition time. As you know, Don’t Bite, book 4 of the Stockton Wolves series has just been released (You can find that here) – thank you so much for all of the positive comments you’ve been sending me about that book. What I want you to think about is the Stockton Wolves series – what was your favorite line.  Can be from any of the four books, but what stuck out in your mind as something special.

Winner will be picked at random on the 16th and the prize is a print copy of all four Stockton Wolves books; sent anywhere in the world by fast post so hopefully you receive them before Christmas.

Can’t wait to see what you come up with. Have a great weekend 🙂

It’s hard to pick just one line – especially across the series – but one of my favourite (paragraphs) is towards the end of the first novel and that is: “Shane West, you make me happier than any other person alive. I love you with all that I am, and I want everyone to know how much you mean to me. Would you do me the honor of becoming my husband?”
I absolutely loved the book and I was so happy for this moment – they had their ups and downs but I always love reading about hardassess who are a softy at heart and have a heart of gold. And even better to see them get their HEA or at least HFN. 😀
It’s been a while since I’ve read the first 3 books – this has definitely put me in the mood to re-read! 😀
And thank you so much for the chance to win these in print! I love them! 😀 xxx

“You are so fucking brave,” Alexi whispered. “I’m proud enough to burst that you’re mine.”
This struck home with me, because of Trents fear and anxiety, he struggles so much throuhout the book. Alexi sees this, and not only does he not take offense, or try and ‘fix’ his mate, he shows Trent compassion and love through words and action.
Many days I feel like Trent, afraid off everything, including rejection, not being good enough or strong enough. I love this book so much.

When Sin found out he was a bear shifter!!

“You are perfect as my mate” Alexi said fiercely.

The thing I love the most about all your books is how the characters don’t question the fates or that the other is their perfect match or soulmate. To them, it doesn’t matter if they are short, tall, fat, skinny, what kind of clothes they wear or what they do for a living. All your men just know their mate is perfect.

I think this is an important lesson for humans as a whole, we need to stop being so superficial. It doesn’t matter what somebody looks like or what they do for a living or how much money they make. Take the time to get to know a person before you dismiss them on something so inconsequential. I had a friend once who dumped her BF because he wore the shoes on a date!

Be kind, be accepting and don’t dismiss people based on superficial shit!

That’s what I love the most about all of your books!!

Roan stood tall and yelled, “That’s enough!” Mace and Alexi stopped fighting. One of Mace’s eyes was already swelling a nd Alexi had a puffy cut lip. Both men’s torsos were littered with bruises.
“Babe, I can win this,” Mace protested.
“He’s kept his claws sheathed, mate, and his fangs haven’t dropped,” Roan argued back. “What does that tell you? Now you’ve had your play; Alexi is hired and for the record Trent and I call this a draw. That’s not negotiable. Okay with you Trent?”
Trent nodded. “Yep. A draw. Sounds good to me.”
“But babe,” Mace got to his feet and Trent could see he was having trouble staying upright. Alexi was standing, but he was favoring his left side.
“It’s a draw and if I hear a hint of anything different you’ll be sleeping on the couch,” Roan crossed his arms. “Now shake hands and let’s get you cleaned up. Some of us have work to do.”

This whole sequence with Roan was great. Shows how much he’s grown and gotten over his abuse. Love his and Kalel characters.

Can’t wait to start reading this between all the other holiday obligations! 😉

“It’s like they belong to a club I’ll never be a part of”.

This struck a chord with me. As a person who was mostly shunned throughout school and university, this line really hit home. For more reasons than I imagined… But, cheers to Trent for coming out of it 🙂

“It can be difficult for any of us, I think, when we’re looking for love and acceptance and yet scared we’ll never find it.”

“I knew you’d come running if I got into trouble.” Ben sharing his own huge grin.

He had waited eight years to claim his mate – he could wait a little longer.

When the answer came to him, as he was sitting in the truck wondering what the hell he was going to do, he hit his head on the steering wheel to punish himself for his stupidity. Shane was protecting his mate. This slur on Shane’s character could cost him his job, even if the police couldn’t prove that Shane was the killer.

I have two favorite quotes in Don’t Bite (I did just power through all 4 books, and there are tons of good ones, so I figured go with the newest book hehe).

Super powers don’t fail me now.

I was showing this lovely lady what simple pleasures can be gained when you’re stuck in a bedroom on your own for more hours than you can count.

I really enjoy this series and am glad there will be at least one more & hope you find more than one more book’s worth of inspiration.

“Come here little mate, for fucks sake please come here. I’ve missed you so much.”

“Whoa there little killer,” Mace said

“Because I have to tell you, if it was me, I’d be over the moon and wouldn’t care if the guy had six tits, three dicks and was covered in purple spots.”” ― from “Mace’s Awakening (Stockton Wolves Book 3)”

When Mace is complaining to Trent about having a male mate. I think iti s a very good sentiment (if funnily put). It shouldn’t matter who/what your partner is as long as you’re loved.
