Updates Finally – The Good, The UGH and The Inbetween

My poor blog space has been so neglected lately, but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t thinking about you all.  Now, we need to catch up and I’ll keep it brief, so buckle in and read to the end because I had to include a snippet from Tangling With Bears which is finally finished – Yay!!!  For me, that’s the bestest news of all, because that book really put me through the wringer.

Why? Because of my stupid health – been living with the fact that I might have had a stroke for over six weeks and it has been doing my head in…BUT

Other good stuff – yay!!!! – my CT scan came back clear and the ultrasound on my carotids were definitely okay

(The UGH – the medical professionals don’t know why I’m falling all over the place, but I am determined not to worry about it and am just a lot more careful about where and how I walk)

The Inbetween – that’s where we are now peoples. My book is at the beta readers and I start the editing process tomorrow.  Watch for a cover release in the next day or so for Tangling with Bears, which will be out next week.

And as promised, here’s a teaser for you – this is M/M/M so for those readers who aren’t comfortable with that, I’m sorry, but my bears come in pairs 🙂

Meet Tobias, isn't he adorably sexy :)

Meet Tobias, isn’t he adorably sexy 🙂

“Did he say something to you while I was in the kitchen?” He (Luke) would try the direct approach and see where that got him. And there, quick as a flash, a look of hurt ran over Tobias’s face before it disappeared. Kurt had said something. He’d upset their sexy wolf. Well, Luke would have something to say about that. He jumped up.

“Luke, where are you going? I thought we were going to talk some more. Don’t you want to hear about the time Jax tried to teach Aelfric to drive?”

“You can tell me later,” Luke said striding towards the door. “That hunk of mine has gone and stuck his fucking foot in it again, and if I know him, he’s sitting out in his wagon trying to work out what to do about it.”

“Sweetheart, maybe you shouldn’t.” Luke turned around to look at Tobias, the man’s voice sounded almost sad, and that, oh boy, that made him even angrier.

Ignoring Tobias’s request, Luke flung open the door again and standing in the doorway he yelled loudly, “Kurt Ogilvy, you get your hairy ass back into this house this minute, do you hear me.”

“I’m on the phone.”

Luke seethed. Their wolf was hurting because of some stupid shit that Kurt said, and he was on the phone? Not for long he wouldn’t be. He ran over to the SUV and wrenched open the door, almost pulling it off its hinges. Sure enough, Kurt had his phone in his hand. Luke grabbed it, threw it to the ground and stomped on it, hard. The phone had no defense, it shattered into tiny pieces, and Luke was distracted by the shiny metal pieces, until he heard Kurt’s voice.

“What’s got into you little bear? Those phones are expensive.”

“I don’t care, I’ll buy you a fucking boxful if you like, but you get your ass in the house right now, or you can sleep out here, all night. You’ve upset our wolf, and I want you to fix it, right now.”

“What did he tell you?” Kurt had his mean face on, but that had never bothered Luke. He knew Kurt would rather cut his arm off than hurt him.

“He didn’t tell me anything, you just did. Now I mean it. Get out of the car, get into that house and whatever you said to Tobias, you fix it. Right now.”

“I…er…I’m not sure that’s a good idea.”

“And why not.” Luke knew he looked good, standing there with his arms crossed, tapping his foot on the gravel. Ouch, that hurt a bit, he should have put shoes on, but Luke had to stay firm. It wasn’t any good having two mates if they didn’t talk to each other.

“Hey guys, I’m going to head off home now, okay? I think you two have a lot to talk about, and yeah, I don’t want to get in the way.” Tobias’s voice came from the porch, and Luke turned and fixed him with a glare as well.

“You’re not going anywhere. You’re going to claim me tonight and last I heard we had to be in the same room to do it.” Two gasps – in stereo. Damn he was getting good at this giving orders lark.

Last sentence – Lark is probably bark?

I hope you get better. Get blood work done, see if you’re anemic. A friend had dizziness and it was due to an inner ear problem and had to cut back on salt. Cutting back on salt is good, anyway! And if it isn’t any of that make sure you get enough protein and go walking, get those lungs pumping!

Can’t wait for the story to come out! – Dan’s Wife

      LOL Dan’s Wife…

She did say this was unedited…wink wink.

@Ms. Lisa, we say YOUR HEALTH is WAY more important. YOU take care of YOU hon. My thoughts and prayers you will be 100% in no time.

        Cali –

I missed that part (unedited). I was too anxious to start the story.

Lisa – Glad you’re feeling better and hope it continues. Getting older isn’t easy. You wonder how some of these 200 year old wolves are able to run like lightening and have no joint pain when it’s something we humans are plagued with. It’s a wonder they even understand human illnesses.

Can’t wait for your story and I’ll spread the word once it’s out. There are a lot of fans on the m/m romance forum on Amazon.

I hoe you get better soon. I usually don’t like menage. But I never mind it when it’s your books. You have a way of making it so no one gets left out everyone is loved equally in the menage. Can’t wait to read this.

  8. Tammy

Your health is most important!! Don’t let them give you the excuse that your fine because they can’t figure it out. Sometimes a second opinion doesn’t hurt. Don’t you like all our fine advice?!?! Lol

  9. Lisao79

Thank you ladies, my health is fine for now and I am planning on keeping that way.

Am editing furiously, thanks to some awesome help from my beta team and am on track to get this book out, this coming week – so excited 🙂

You guys mean the world to me, without readers, I would still have stories, but I wouldn’t be able to share the love I write about. You make it all worthwhile 🙂

    Thank you
